Welcome to the Magnolia Defense Enterprises home page.  This site has been designed to give you information and insight into taking the next step towards learning how to safely operate, maintain and store a firearm.

Have you thought about taking a firearms safety course?  What has held you back?  Fear?  Lack of time?  Discomfort?  One of the reasons I love teaching women firearms safety is I believe knowledge is power.  If you’re in an environment where you know what you’re doing, and you’re comfortable with your surroundings and the material, you are confident and on top of the world.

Shouldn’t the same hold true with respect to owning and operating a firearm?  I will not teach you every nuance about every gun manufactured since the beginning of time.  That’s impossible.  I will teach you what you care about, because as a woman, more than likely it’s what I care about. 

As women, we operate on an emotional platform.  And while knowing how to shoot is very cool and macho to guys, to us it may save our lives.  It’s very emotional.  And that’s okay!

Oh, and one more thing -- if you’re not comfortable while shooting, you’re not going to shoot very often, so comfort is a biggie for me. I emphasize comfort as well as shooting a number of different firearms prior to you making a purchase.  After all, you wouldn’t want someone else buying your shoes or underwear for you, would you?  It’s that important…
